Inkspiller Joins UK Government's Digital Specialist Framework
It was over 16 years ago that I cut my copywriting teeth working for the Cabinet Office on the Government’s UK Online campaign. Which included a memorable all-nighter at the infamous Cobra (emergency) press office.
Now we’re coming full circle…
I’m thrilled to announce that Inkspiller has just been accepted on to the Government’s Digital Specialists and Outcomes Framework.
This means we’re approved to offer copywriting services to the public sector; working with Government departments and public bodies on their content strategy, content design and copywriting.
Having started my career in the sector, this is work that’s close to my heart.
In fact several years ago we were privileged to work with the Department For Culture, Media and Sport on making their website more user-friendly; editing and writing over 200 web pages. All of which I’m happy to report received excellent feedback in their user testing.
I believe public bodies have a responsibility to communicate in a way anyone can understand.
I adore the new Gov.uk content design and tone-of-voice guidelines for this very reason. We’re looking forward to being able to put them into practise in the near future.
